自衛隊は軍隊じゃないんだから、広報用だけの航空隊を持たなくてもいいんじゃないの。
（私の当時までは、戦闘機部隊に転用可能の航空隊だった。）
ま、そんなこと言っても、自衛隊全体が宗主国米国向けの、軍隊として使われることが一切ない、広報用「軍隊」だからなあ。↓
「８月24日、東京パラリンピックの開会を祝うために航空自衛隊に所属するアクロバット飛行チーム「ブルーインパルス」がカラースモークを噴出するパフォーマンスを行った。
ところが着陸の際、適正な高度よりも低い高度でカラースモークを噴射したため、十分に拡散しなかった塗料が埼玉県・入間基地近くの住宅に停めてあった車、おおよそ300台程度に付着した。塗料は水や洗剤で洗っても落とせず、塗り直しが必要になるという。・・・
予備機が３機とも同じような低高度でカラースモークを噴射していたことから、実際は指令側から上空でカラースモークを確実に使い切るような指示が出ており着地のギリギリで余っていたカラースモークを噴射せざるを得なかったと考える方が妥当だろう。
いずれにせよ、航空自衛隊側がカラースモーク使用の適正高度を守らなかったというミスは明らかであり、言い訳の余地はない。現状、ブルーインパルスはカラースモークを扱うだけの技術レベルに無いと言われても仕方がないだろう。・・・」
