Even the obsession of American elites with human rights has a geographical basis, since the protection afforded by oceans has made them suspicious of the ruthless realpolitik always demanded of states with insecure land borders. The country still has the ability to stand aloof and make moral judgments accordingly.・・・

今月18日から、送信済みメールが、全て、Thunderbirdの「21送信済みメール」フォルダではなく、「[Gmail]」フォルダ中の「送信済みメール」サブフォルダに収納されるようになってしまっています。
今までも、スライド作成グループのメーリングリスト宛の送信メール等だけが不思議なことにこのサブフォルダに収納されてきた、ということはあるのですが、コラムの配信メールを含むすべての送信メールがこのサブフォルダに収納されるようになったのは初めてです。
設定を調整して元に戻す方法はあるのでしょうか？

「190114-00 Acronis True Imageのデータリカバリ方法」（コラム#10996）の方法で、「Thunderbird」の「Profiles」を17日以前のデータバックアップから復元してみてください。

Thunderbirdを16日の22:00過ぎへリカバリーしたのですが、メールを送信しようとすると、
「エラー-xxxxxxx@gmail.comの 21送信済みメールフォルダーxxxxxxx@gmail.com の 21送信済みメール フォルダー フォルダーが見つからなかったので、このフォルダーに関連付けられたフィルターは無効になります。フォルダーが存在しており、フィルターが有効な対象フォルダーを指していることを確認してください。」
というエラー表示が出て⇒OKをクリック⇒
「フィルター 2021年送信用フィルタ の評価に失敗しました。フィルターの評価を続けますか？」
というエラー表示が出て⇒OKをクリック⇒
「メッセージの送信と保存は完了しましたが、メッセージフィルターの適用時にエラーが発生しました。」
というエラー表示が出て⇒OKをクリック
というわけで、「異常」なままでした。

まず、念の為に「21送信済みメール」フォルダーが存在することを確認してください。

次に、「190112-00 メール仕分け設定」（コラム#10308）の「<3> 送信メール用フィルタの設定」（「<1>と<2>」は行う必要はありません）の
1. 手順1～3を行ってください。
2. 手順4を行う前に、既存のフィルターを全て削除してください。削除するフィルターをクリックして青色反転させた後、右の方にある「削除(T)」ボタンをクリックすれば削除されます。
3. 手順4以降を、適切な日付に読み替えて、実行してください。

昨日、高校時代の同級生の半坂忍君が20日に肺癌で死去したとの知らせを、もう一人の同級生からハガキで受けました。
半坂君は、大学も同じで、長らく旧社会党の機関紙の社会新報の編集長を務め、私の立候補当時は民主党経理局長であり、大変お世話になった友人です。
どうもありがとう。
