≫この前の私の「講演」原稿に対する反応がオフ会出席者だけからしかないっちゅう怪奇現象を新たな「講演」原稿で取り上げ、その原因を解明したいくらいだな。≪（コラム#13039。太田）

　吉田茂に対する評価が今一つ納得いかない。

⇒昔の私を吉田観でもって現在の私の吉田観を批判されてもねえ。（太田）

吉田ドクトリンが他人が勝手に作り出した幻想だったとしても、彼の外交官時代の無能さから考えても杉山構想に気づいた？とは思えないし、以前コラムにした「吉田茂の自問」では戦後も彼のダメさが露呈していると感じます。

⇒戦後、牧野伸顕から聞かされた、と見ているわけです（コラム#省略）。（太田）

　（それとも杉山構想に気づいてほしいという願望の元に報告書を作らせた？
　でも役立たずな外務省職員がまともな結論を導けるわけないし、第一自分も大した外交官ではない）

⇒杉山構想が、官僚達、就中、外務官僚達、に洩れていないかを確かめるための調査だった、と見ているわけです（同上）。（太田）

　「講演」原稿では実質日本の属国化関与リストから吉田は除外されたように見受けられますが（日本の立場が微妙な時期なので吉田にも限界があったのは理解できますがそれを考慮しても）だとしても無能な外交官は有能な首相にはなれませんし、｛「国防は国の基本である。⇒晩年に転向したのではなく、一貫して吉田はそう考えていた、と見るべきだろう｝転向や一貫するどころか国防を本当に考えていたのだろうか？

⇒戦前までは遡りませんが、幣原も芦田も無能な外交官だったけれど（占領期の特殊事情もあり）首相になってます（同上）が？
　なお、少なくとも幣原外交が始まった大正末期

までには、外務省自体が無能化しています（同上）から、吉田自身を含め、個々の外務官僚が、そんな省の中で、有能な外交官であり続けたり有能な外交官へと育ったりするのは困難でしょう。
　また、日本の再軍備に関する吉田の唯一最大の過失は、朝鮮戦争勃発直後のマッカーサーによる再軍備要求を拒否したことだが、吉田の心情には汲むべきものがあった、旨、私はコラム#13034（未公開）で指摘しています。
　あ、そうそう、「国防を本当に考えていたのだろうか？」に関しては、昭和天皇が命じたところの、武装放棄憲法を押しつけてくれるようマッカーサーに依頼する役割を引き受けること（東久邇宮の後の首相に就任すること）を吉田が拒否した（と私が見ている）ことが反証になります（コラム#省略）。
　これだけ読み抜けがあるところからして、ホントにキミ、読者？
　ひょっとして、一見さんどころか荒らしかもね。（太田）
