　投稿がないので、いきなり記事の紹介からです。

　「・・・小沢氏秘書事件の反省から、民主党は企業献金の３年後の全廃と個人献金の拡充を打ち出した。その矢先、党代表の個人献金に疑惑が噴き出した。このままでは、せっかくの企業献金廃止の方針が説得力を失いかねない。
　気になるのは、党首討論を来週やろうという自民党の呼びかけを、民主党が拒んだことだ。まさかとは思うが、鳩山氏の献金問題が影を落としているとしたら情けないことだ。・・・」

　ロシア人の帝国喪失の心の傷は余りにも大きい↓、と改めて思います。
　それに比べ、イギリス（英国）人のタフさよ。

　欧州の中にも、しかもイスラム圏だというのに、先の大戦中にユダヤ人を守り通した人々がいた↓のですね。

And it wasn’t just Muslims making sacrifices – the entire population, approximately 70% Bektashi Muslim, 20% Orthodox Christians and 10% Catholic – risked their lives to save Jewish strangers.
　The stories of righteous Muslims in Gershman’s book reveal that they understood Besa as an expression of the Qur’anic teachings of mercy, hospitality, and protecting the weak. Kujtim Civeja, a member of a traditional Muslim family of scholars, said “Our father wrote that when he had the opportunity and privilege to shelter so many Jewish families it gave him joy to put into practice his Islamic faith. To be generous is a virtue.”
　Hamdi Mece explained “We never took money from those we sheltered. We took them in under our Besa. We are true Muslims, and God granted us the privilege of saving Jews. All life is precious and given by God. To save a life is God’s gift.”・・・

　なお、この記事の中に登場するベクタシ（Bektashi）とは、イスラム教で神秘主義（Sufi）の系譜に連なるところの、シーア派の一派であり、現在でも、マケドニア、アルバニア、コソボで広く信仰されています。

　どうも、依然中共は北朝鮮支援を全く止めないようですね↓。
　私は、胡錦涛政権の対外政策遂行能力を、いささか買いかぶりすぎていたようです。
　これでは、国際社会の対北朝鮮経済制裁が尻抜けになってしまいます。
　中共は、経済的に苦境に陥っている米国を見くびっているのではないでしょうか。
　米国人女性記者２名も北朝鮮に拘束されたままです。
　このままで、ハワイにまで北朝鮮のミサイルが少なくとも到達しうることが次のテポドン２発射によって裏付けられでもしたら、米国の朝野の怒りは一挙に中共に向かうことでしょう。

　Chinese buyers of North Korean minerals don’t seem to mind.

　According to the U.S. Geological Survey, North Korea’s primary mineral exports to China are coal for smelting, iron ore, zinc, lead and magnesite, which is essential for making lightweight metals for electronics. ・・・
　By some outside estimates, markets now account for about 80 percent of ＜North Korean＞ household income and have become the primary means for most people to obtain food.
　But since 2005, as trade with China has revived the state’s capacity for control, the government has imposed increasing restrictions on what can be sold in private markets and who can sell it. It has also cracked down on border crossings into China, dramatically reducing the number of small traders who can move between the two countries・・・
　Widespread food shortages, however, have not gone away.
　About 37 percent of the population will require food assistance this year, according to a U.N. assessment. Aid officials agree that North Korea’s trade with China has done little to alleviate chronic hunger, especially among those considered disloyal to the government.
