　ダメだろw。
　書き手の意志を察するに、キルスイッチはキルスイッチで本来の緊急停止のための（切るスイッチw）ものを指してて、それにちょうどkillって言葉が乗ってるだけだと思うよ。
　明らかな誤訳ではないかもしれないが、読者には誤解を与えると思うよ。そのまま「キルスイッチ」と訳せば面白さも残るしいいと思うよ。
　そういえば、気のせいかもしれないがおーたんが素直に誤りを認めるのってあんまり見かけないなぁ・・・気のせいかな。
　まぁ、よくも悪くも頑固だよね。
＜killswitch＞
　太田さんの仰る通りで、誤訳は無いと思います。
　「kill」は、直球的な意味が、常に付きまとうのだと思います。

　βΒΒβクン、問題のコラムで、私は「レーダーを殺すために組み込まれた殺人スイッチ」と書いたのだから、読者に誤解を生じる余地は皆無だよ。
　だから、これは誤訳とは言えないの。
　じゃ、なんで私が「・・・（汗）」とレスしたのか？
　99%ジョークなんだけど、１%は「殺しのスイッチ」とでも訳せば100点満点だったかなという気持ちを込めたってわけ。
　ところで、

　そう、完全に気のせいだな。
　だって、典拠、一つもあげられないだろ。

ガーディアンに、イギリスとロシアはパートナーにならなければならないという論考がありましたが、ポロニウム殺人事件などで険悪化した英露関係がイスラムテロリストとの戦いによって良好になることはあるのでしょうか？　
　アフガンの平和維持活動などにロシアが関わることは、テロやドラッグの拡散防止のためにロシア自身にもメリットが大きいようですが…。
　世界の世俗化推進への道のりはまだまだ遠い？　
　しかし日本は早く米国から独立しないと世界に何の貢献も出来ない不具国家のままです…。

　タイトル見て読まなかったコラムだな。
　このコラムの筆者もそうだけど、

だなんて、大英帝国時代じゃあるまいし、ミリバンド英外相、誇大妄想狂です。
　だけど、おっしゃるように日本が「独立」し、その上で英国と提携すれば、十分米国を窘められる”global player of weight and power”たりうるでしょう。
　記事の紹介です。
　下掲は、コラム#3606で登場したのと同じ筆者（米海軍大学準教授）のコラムだけど、今回もまことに率直に米国政府のホンネを代弁してるよ。↓
　そもそも、ハワイを米国が併合したのは（朝鮮半島の日本による併合より全然）国際法違反だ！
　いずれにせよ、鳩山政権の対米揺さぶり「作戦」は、功を奏してるって感じだね。

　北方領土や竹島よりこっちの領土問題の方がよっぽど重要だと思うけど、何で日本のメディアはもっと報道しないのかね。
　韓国も台湾も中共と同じスタンス↓だなんて知らなかったぞ。

て米国は、副大統領のバイデンご推奨の兵力縮小↓ってんじゃ、ちょっとひどいんじゃないかい？↓

　案外、オバマ、この案↓を採用するかもね。
