　まぐまぐが、昨日から本日にかけて、まぐまぐ本体とミニまぐを統合したことに伴い、元ミニまぐ読者への配信がコラム２回分行えませんでした。
　希望的観測としては、このコラムから配信されるはずなので、ミニまぐの元読者の皆さん、引き続きご愛読よろしくお願いします。

　ところでオバマのおじぎについてだけど、単純に天皇陛下のご威光に圧倒されたのかもって思ってるw。
　俺だったら畏れ多くて天皇陛下よりも頭を高くするなんて出来ないわw。

　昭和天皇の大喪の礼の際には、世界の163か国の国家元首や首脳と17の国際機関の関係者が参列に訪れた。
　インドは３日間、ブータンでは一か月間喪に服した（日本は2日間）。また、今上天皇の即位の礼の際にも世界各国の国家元首が多く参列に訪れた。
　天皇陛下の訪米時には、大統領に最高礼装のホワイトタイで迎えられ、史上例の無いアメリカ５軍（陸、海、空、海兵、沿岸）の観閲式で迎えられた。

　まさに、その昭和天皇の大喪の時に、ブッシュ父大統領が棺に向かって深々とお辞儀をした話が、今回のオバマのお辞儀の関連で大きく報じられてるよ。↓
　Mr. George H.W. Bush・・・was even newer to the presidency at that moment than Mr. Obama is today. Barely a month in office, he traveled to Tokyo for Hirohito’s funeral, declaring it was the right way to honor a former enemy turned ally. It was the first imperial funeral in many decades, a huge state event. And naturally it poured rain on the guests; ladies in their finest kimonos and Sumo wrestlers alike sank into the mud.
　Then came the moment: When Mr. Bush approached the emperor’s casket, he bowed deeply.
　Those of us who had lived in Japan thought nothing of it. That is how respect is shown in Japan. But the pre-cable pundits were screaming, and soon one of our colleagues, the late Gerald Boyd, asked Mr. Bush about it at a news conference.
　Mr. Bush danced around an answer for a moment, mentioning members of his squadron who never came home, and Gen. Douglas MacArthur’s decision to keep the emperor system, as a way of unifying the Japanese people. Then he said this:
　I’m representing the United States of America. And we’re talking about a friend, and we’re talking about an ally. We’re talking about a nation with whom we have constructive relationships. Sure, we got some problems, but that was all overriding ? and respect for the Emperor. And remember back in World War II, if you’d have predicted that I would be here, because of the hard feeling and the symbolic nature of the problem back then of the former Emperor’s standing, I would have said, “No way.” But here we are, and time moves on; and there is a very good lesson for civilized countries in all of this. ・・・

　はっきりしていることは、植民地時代の北米植民地では、おじぎは目上の人に対して、日常的に行われていたことだ。
　米国人の眼から見ると、おじぎには、そのような含意があるってことだ。↓

　ブッシュ父大統領は亡くなった天皇に対する儀礼だったけど、オバマは生きている天皇に対するものだったわけだから、こっちの方が重いと思うな。

≫第一に、防衛大での軍事関係の座学は、（軍事だって歴とした学問だから）教科扱いにしその分、卒業必要単位数を減らし、学生の負担を軽減すること・・第二に防衛大を（軍事に限らず）指導者を養成する大学ととらえなおし、教科や訓練等を全面的に見直すこと・・・そして、任官しないというオプションを明確に提示すること・・第三に、防衛大を卒業した者は、幹部候補生学校を経ずにただちに任官させること・・・幹部候補生学校は一般大出身者のためだけの学校とし、この学校在籍中の期間だけ、防衛大卒の人々に比べて任官を遅らせること・・・≪（コラム#3647。太田）

　典拠なしで面白半分のヨタ話しだけど、あまりに多岐に渡り詳細なので関係者か近しい人が書いたと“思わせる”記事なんだな。
　基本的にユーモラスに書いてあるけど、記事全体から漂うなんとも言えない悲哀が読み物として面白いです。
　太田さんの推奨する改革とも関係するような話し・・もしかして体験談？(ヨタ話しだけどね！)･･だけど防衛大学校の総務部長であった太田さん、真偽を含めてこの記事どうですかね？
　取るに足らない話しだと判断したらスルーしてください

≫この日本人離れした容赦の無さだが、≪（ΒΓΓΒ）
　客観的で、事実を正確に理解して表現することに長けている･･･「言葉を額面どおりに受け取る」や「些細なことにこだわる」という特徴も、アスペルガー症候群に近いものあるよな。
　防衛省時代の、例のピアノ事件のように、他者の仕草や雰囲気から多くの情報を集め、相手の感情や認知の状態を読み取れるという、所謂“空気を読む”ということができない（若しくは確信犯）。
　コミュニケーション能力に問題があるようにと　普通はそうおもうが。
　しかし、オフ会なんぞ開いているようだし、実際に観察しないとなんともいえんわな。
　ま、んなことをみるために、わざわざオフ会に出るなんぞの暇人はいないとおもうが。
　くだらん戯れ言でスマンとおもうが、みんなもおーたんの“容赦の無さ”には賛否あるとおもうし、当然の如くこれが逆に己に跳ね返ってくることで、太田述正を浮上させる妨げにもなっているような･･･。
　安易に迎合せずに、信念を直球で投げ続けることのできる稀有なヒトであることは間違いがないな。
　故に、この＜「たった一人の反乱」という＞タイトルなんだな　と。

　評価してないことはないけど、歴史学も人類学も日進月歩だからねえ。
　それにしても、自分はトインビーのこういう所を評価してるとかいう話を書いてくれなくっちゃ、レスしようがないよ。

　トインビーってよく草加儲が持ち上げてるからネガティブな印象がある。
　彼らの持ち上げようはトインビーの評価＝犬○の評価ぐらいの勢いがあって怖いぜ(個人的経験)。

　それにしても、本件で鳩山首相、孤立無援になりつつあるな。↓

　ロシアが核の先制使用の考え方を打ち出しているという話を前に（コラム#3584で）しましたが、それについて、つっこんだ記事が出てました。↓
