　＜昨日、＞ロサンゼルスタイムスの特約フリーランス記者のKenji Hall氏の電話取材を約45分間にわたって受けました。
　日系人らしい名前だけど、英語に日本人訛りは全然なかったですね。
　防衛計画の大綱とそれに関連して、菅首相の邦人救出話についての取材だったけど、この際とばかり、日韓関係や日本の戦前の安全保障政策の話や米国が東アジアで犯した愚行についても説明しておきました。（モチ、記事にはならないだろうけど。）

　その内容といい、共同執筆した記者の名前といい、まさにこの記事だけど、結局、本来の取材部分を含め、一切私は登場しなかったなあ。↓

　経緯は以下のとおりだ。
　一昨日の夕刻、（私の外出中に）メールで、ホームページの英語版を見たと言って昨日昼目途で電話取材をしたいとの申込みがあり、（夜、）本当にロサンゼルスタイムス特約記者なのかと疑問を呈すると、それを疎明する返信が（深夜に）あり、昨朝、私より、取材を受けるとメールした。
　すると本人から電話があったので、できれば会って取材を受けたかったところだと伝えると、相手は了承し、1130目途に自宅にやって来ることになった。
　その後メールで1200過ぎ～1300に変更してくれと言ってきたので了解した。
　更にその後、1500ないし1600頃に変更してくれと言ってきたので再度了解した。
　1600頃電話があり、まだ自分のオフィスにいるが、1800に別の予定が入っているので、電話で取材させてくれと言うのでこれを飲んだ。
　こうして約45分間の電話取材を受けた。
　私から、この取材が記事に掲載されたら、その記事を送ってくれるように依頼し、相手も了承した。
　取材内容をボツにするのは構わないけど、これだけすったもんだしたんだから、結果を伝えてくる位の配慮はあってしかるべきだったと思うね。
　日系人とおぼしき名前の記者だけど、彼のためにもまことに残念なことだ。

　これって前原は３流ではあるが一応政治家ではあるって認識でいいんだろうか？

　集団的自衛権行使を是とするったってその理由が重要（コラム#4183）なんだし、そもそも、集団的自衛権行使を是とするだけじゃ政治家とは言えないよ。
　ま、正確に書くのなら、集団的自衛権行使を是とすることは（政治屋ならぬ）政治家にとって必要条件である、と書かなきゃならないわけだけど、そこは、読者が自分で考えてくれってことだな。

≫防衛費の引き続きの削減には、中共、目をシロクロさせてるだろうな。いずれにせよ、米国のご機嫌は大いに損なうだろうて。≪（コラム#4435。太田）
　防衛費削減を主導しているのは、やはり財務省ですか？
　それとも、米国の意向に、鈍感な民主党政権の方々ですかね…。

　経費を切り詰めようとするのは財務省の身上です。
　結局、政治家の責任ですよ。
