　昨夜『ある公爵夫人の生涯』を鑑賞したが、書き終えたばかりの「映画評論23：ヴィクトリア女王 世紀の愛/眺めのいい部屋」シリーズ（未公開）の結論が、ほぼそのままあてはまるテーマの映画だったのでびっくりしたな。
　イギリスにおいて、ホイッグ的史観が現在でも生きているということなんだろう。
　それでは、記事の紹介です。
　かつて、日本の女学生達からさえ黄色い声が発せられたほど大人気だったグリーンスパン（当時米連邦準備制度理事会議長）・・アイン・ランドの高弟・・が、昨年の米ドキュメンタリーや今年の米映画で、米国経済をダメにした主犯としてぶっ叩かれるに至った。
　盛者必衰の理をあらわす。↓

　米国は戦争に強いが他国の国家建設は不得手だ・・というのはその通りだけど・・。↓

　＜フィリピンを失敗例として挙げたのは大変健康だが、日本、台湾、韓国で成功したのは、全く米国のせいではなく、旧日本帝国の恩沢なのであって、残された唯一の「成功」例と言えそうなのがドイツだ。↓＞

　独立直後に内部告発者保護法を制定した点については、米国を褒めなくっちゃね。↓

　「ゲイツ米国防長官が＜欧州の＞NATOのメンバー国が国防費をケチっていることを激しく非難した」（コラム#4801）が、非難する方がおかしい、というコラムが出た。↓
