　日本の会計士業界の最大の問題は、下掲の記事の中に出てくる言葉を使えば、日本では、「減少傾向」にある「監査報酬」が全球的標準に比べて、もともと低いところにあるのさ。
　なんで低いかって？
　極端に言えば、日本じゃ会計士はお飾りに過ぎないからだよ。
　お飾りになんかに、誰も大枚払うわけないでしょ。
　ちーと理論的に言えば、日本型経済体制下の典型的な企業においては、監査の意義が存在しないんだわ。（なぜか、考えてみな。）
　だからこそ、日本じゃ、全球的監査法人が、そのまま日本国内で営業してないのよ。
　（日本の大手監査法人と「提携」しているにとどまる。実質的な仕事がなく監査報酬も低いんじゃ、直営するメリットがないどころか、直営するリスクが大きすぎるのであるね。）
　だから、この根本的「問題」に「対処」しないまま、会計士の数だけ増やしちゃダメだったのよ。
　（いちいち典拠を付けなかったが、自分で調べてごらん。）↓
　「・・・会計士数は米国の約30万人に対し、日本は約２万人にとどまる。金融庁は「18年をめどに５万人に増やす」との方針を打ち出し、06年に試験制度を改革。08年には3000人が合格した。
　ところがリーマン・ショック後の株式上場の低迷で監査先の新規開拓が進まず、07～08年に合格者を大量採用した反動もあって、大手監査法人は09年以降の採用を減らし続けている。・・・
