評価が高い人は単純に期待感から、評価が低い人は大阪単独での中央集権化に過ぎない、地方制度の歴史を考慮してないなどどうもレベルが高い論考ではないと斬り捨てているみたい。（角川新書・・・）

　「27日投開票の大阪市長選で、現職の平松邦夫氏（63）が落選し、前大阪府知事の橋下徹氏（42）が当選してから一夜明けた28日、大阪市北区中之島にある大阪市役所では、現職市長の落選だけでなく「市役所をぶっつぶす」と公言してきた橋下氏が 大量得票で当選したことで、一気に“落城”ムードが広がっている。
　これまで橋下氏の姿勢に激しく反発してきた市幹部たちも「変化を望む民意が出たということ」とあきらめの表情だ。
　橋下氏はこれまで、市職員を「市役所は税金をむさぼり食うシロアリ」などと批判。
　前夜の記者会見でも「民意を無視する職員は去ってもらう」と自主退職を求める発言もしていた。
　ある市幹部は「シロアリといわれたことは気分が悪いが、時々の市長に務めるのが公務員の役目。
　平松さんに従ったように、橋下市政になれば、橋下さんの指示に従う」とコメント。」
