　軍事独裁政権が名前を変えただけの現在のミャンマーの「文民」政権が、同国の自由民主主義化に乗り出した理由は米国にも分かっていないようだね。

　私の仮説は、日本の支配下にあった地域で赤露に席巻されなかった所は早晩自由民主主義化する、というものだ。
　紀元１世紀のローマ支配下の時代のロンドン（ロンディニウム）遺跡から発見された「ポルノ」青銅硬貨。
　そこに描かれている行為をこの硬貨１枚と引き換えに売春宿でやらせてもらえたってさ。

　On the reverse of the token is the numeral XIIII, which experts say could indicate the holder handed over 14 small Roman coins called asses to buy it.
　This would have been the equivalent of seven loaves of bread or one day’s pay for a labourer in the first century AD.
　コインの裏面にはXIIIIとの数字が描かれており、専門家は、この数字は、「うかれめを買うためのassess」と称された14枚の少額ローマコインと交換されたことを示しているのであろうとしている。
　これは、１世紀ごろ、７斤のパンまたは労働者の１日分の手当に相当した。
