＜太田＞
　太田コラム読者で、時々ディスカッションで「豊丘時竹」として登場されていた・・といっても、私がインターネット浚渫して発見し、勝手に登場させていただいていたわけですが・・小杉山基昭さんが随筆集『カシオペア旅行–名誉教授のミセラニー』（文藝書房）を上梓され、その贈呈を受けました。
　その中に収録された「属国」と題した随筆は、以前、コラム#3135に転載させていただいたものです。
　小杉山さんは、農林水産省に研究職として奉職された後、茨城大学教授になられ、同大学図書館の館長等を歴任された後、３年前に同大学を定年退職され、同大学の名誉教授になられて現在に至っている方です。

の最近の記述から、私に言及されている箇所をピックアップしてみました。
　・・・今朝のモーニングバードに榊原英資が出演し、TPPについて解説した。アメリカとオーストラリアが、東アジアの自由貿易協定に入れてもらいたいと言ってきているのである。それが実際なので、あわててTPPに参加するなどと言ってはいけない。また、TPPに入ればいずれ混合診療にされ、健康保険は潰される、という内容だった。
　太田述正コラムでは、TPPは心配ないとのことのようだが、やはり多少の警戒は必要ではなかろう。
　上記の太田述正＜氏は、＞・・・＜コラム＞#5103の中で、二つの典拠先を示された上で、日本人はTPPに騒ぎ過ぎだと氏は結論している。太田氏の考えは、榊原氏とは異なるが、読者諸氏のご参考になろう。（若干、論旨が分かりにくいと我ながら感じるが、ご容赦願う）。私は、太田氏に賛成したいが、少しずつ先延ばしに対処するのがいいような気がする。・・・（2011.11.11）

　書籍の推定販売額は、前年比0.2%減の8198億円で、５年連続の減少。雑誌と書籍を合わせると、3.8%減の１兆8042億円で、７年連続の減少となった。」

　『ゴジラ』が米国の核兵器開発と使用を糾弾した映画であることを訴えたコラムだ。↓
　・・・A young scientist (Akihiko Hirata) has created an “oxygen destroyer” that can kill Godzilla, but as he realizes the full scope and potential of his creation (which could destroy the oceans and spark a new global arms race) he does his best to hide the invention. Compelled into service, he insists on diving with the device and detonating it himself. But after watching Godzilla writhe in pain and all too aware that there are no other Oxygen Destroyers in existence, the scientist pulls a knife and committs suicide in the depths. It is a startling finale, stoking sympathy for the “enemy” and killing off the “hero,” designed to make audiences question the value of such destructive weapons. Honda seems to be asking: If the Japanese had access to a nuclear weapon, would they have also used it?
