　ただし、最後あたりの「現在、大気汚染が日本でも深刻化している」だけど、手抜きすることなく、「現在、中国による大気汚染が…」と書かなくっちゃダメじゃん。

　（＜昨日、その＞前夜に引き続き、）『サハラ』を鑑賞した。ウィキペディアで調べようと思ったが、同名の映画が、1943年、1983年、2005年と３本あり・・私が見たのは1983年・・しかも、この中で最もあたらなかった映画らしく、つきとめるのに大変苦労をした。
　徹底的に原住民をおちょくった、冒険３級映画で、唯一の取柄はブルック・シールズを拝めること。

　＜の「ヒポクレチン」についてですが、＞現在テキサス大学の柳沢正史教授と桜井先生（現京大）が発見したオレキシンと同じ脳ペプチドで、日本人としてはこの命名を用いたい＜ところです＞。

　＜についてですが、オレキシ＞ン受容体拮抗薬は新たな作用機序をもつ睡眠薬として開発中です。
　この記事によれば、薬物依存症の治療薬の可能性があることになります。
　「幸福な状況であり、怒るべき状況であり」とそれぞれに気付くには意識のレベルが高くあることが求められると考えていますので、「幸福と怒りと睡眠と中毒には」それぞれ、本来覚醒効果を持つ物質（オレキシン）の働きがあると考えるべきでしょう。
　また、基になっている論文（DOI: 10.1038/ncomms2461）では、脳内メラニン凝集ホルモン（MCH）のレベル変動と反対の動きを示していて、MCHも何らかの関与あると考えるべきでしょう。
　それ以外にも、ド＜ー＞パミン、エンドルフィン、GABAなどが依存性の神経機構に関連してます。
　神経活動はやはり複雑に絡み合っていますので、一種類の分子や細胞活動だけで説明するのは困難が伴いがちですね。

　土地勘の乏しい分野で意訳を試みるのはアブナイ限りだ、直訳にとどめるべきだ、と改めて痛感させられました。
　補足的説明もしていただき、ありがとうございました。
　「DARPAの研究の中に、メタボリック・ドミナンスと呼ばれる「兵士が最高レベルの体調を持続しながら作戦遂行する」ためのプロジェクトがあり、この中でオレキシンをスプレー化したものを吸入することで睡眠の代わりとして使用する研究が行われている。」

という話は、さすがDARPAと言うべきか、呆れると言うべきか。

iPhone5弥次喜多道中だ。
　一昨夜、寝付かれない予感がして、初めて「睡眠アプリ」を利用し、画面の一番最初に掲げられてた「あられ」の音をオンにしてみたが、眠れない苛つき感こそ生じなかったけど、全く睡眠効果はなかった。
　そこで、いつも通り、鼻中の粘膜が腫れてきたので、備え付の抗アレルギー薬を服用し、いつも通り、すぐ爆睡した。
　iOS 6.1.3にアップグレードした。

一人題名のない音楽会です。
　本日は休日・・ウチのすぐそばの桜並木（という道路名）の桜が７分咲きで昨夜街路等に照らされてるを眺めるだけでも素晴らしかった・・なので、前倒しでお送りします。
　既に何度か彼、登場したことがありますが、ディミトリー・ホロストフスキー（Dmitry Hvorostovsky。1962年～）（コラム#3827、3981、4927、5751（「満州の丘に立ちて」を歌っている））の特集の第一回目をお送りしましょう。
　ちなみに、彼は、ロシアのクラスノヤルスク出身のバリトン・オペラ歌手で、1987年のグリンカ・コンクール、1988年のトゥールーズ国際声楽コンクール、1989年のBBCカーディフ国際声楽コンクールで優勝しています。
