　共和党内部からの動きとして、前回の大統領選の際の共和党の副大統領候補だったライアン下院議員から、オバマケアじゃなく、社会保障とメディケアの歳出削減についてオバマ大統領が議会と交渉するという条件で予算と債務負担上限額引き上げを共和党が飲む、という案の提示がなされた。↓

　話は変わるが、朝鮮総連/朝鮮学校について私が昨日の述べたことを補強すると言えそうな、フォーリンポリシー主管者によるコラムからの一節だ。
　筆者は、米国がリビアから勝手にテロ犯罪容疑者を拉致したことを批判し、そんなことしてたら世界中が戦争になると言ってるわけだが、北朝鮮は日本から犯罪容疑者どころかフツーの市民達を拉致して行ったんだから、日本は北朝鮮に宣戦布告すべきだし、それが憲法上の制約等でできないというのなら、せめて、日本国内にある北朝鮮系諸機関は閉鎖させてしかるべきさ。↓

　比較的最近だって、彼の最新作の『色彩を持たない多崎つくると、彼の巡礼の年』の中で取り上げられたってんで、コラム#6141で、リストの「巡礼の年」を紹介してるじゃん。
　なお、ノーベル文学賞選考者達が「世界の最高権威」だとは私は思わない。
　いや、そもそも、理系のノーベル賞の場合と違って（言葉の壁があるだけじゃなく、）選考の客観的基準があるわけないもんね。

Giap had a large hand in planning the final offensive of 1975, but the execution was ultimately left to General Van Tien Dung. The offensive’s success in toppling the Saigon government was not primarily the result of Giap’s planning, but of the withdrawal of American support to South Vietnam that made defense of the nation’s eastern flank untenable.
