　ここまで・・・日韓評価をはっきり書くとはね。

　日本政府は（外務省への予算に大鉈を振るって）太田さんにこそ投資して対外広報活動を任せたらよいのにと心底思います。

—This is a prime example of the Japanese “correct way of thinking” that emphasizes discarding historical fact and replacing it with convenient fictions to salve the rancid conscience of Japan’s apologists for her Colonial era excesses. And yes so many other of us, the US especially, are guilty of similar atrocities and have no right or place to lecture others about inhumane treatment of war captives, and yet, and yet, why does Japan sink so low, to have to rationalize and justify her inexcusable, reprehensible crimes against humanity by comparing her worst behavior to the worst behavior of the dysfunctional behavior of the reprehensible United States?

Why?
Because of the habitual and extensive dishonesty and exaggerations of its accusers, and their present day intentions.
・ The 200,000 figure is a myth. An estimate by one Japanese academic that has never been supported by evidence.
・The notion that they were all slaves and victims is a myth.
・The issue of the business being run by local Koreans and not the Japanese is hidden or ignored.
Since the 1970s when it was genuinely feminist, the issue has been usurped by the race hate mob and nationalists outside of Japan who have no interest in the morality of the issue, women’s rights nor academic accuracy.
Its regurgitation in the media has more to do with territorial tensions in the region, particularly those between the USA and China, and is simply aimed at doing economic and political damage to today’s Japan. A peaceful, law abiding and civil society whose actions have been entirely blameless on these fronts for nearly 70 years.
In short, it’s a sort of racketeering and a racketeering likely to backfire on Korea.
To put it all into context, in the USA 90,000 cases of rape are reported each year but the US Justice Department estimates the real figure is around 300,000 (the majority not being reported), and the Korean Ministry of Gender Equality & Family estimates 1 in 5 Korean males visits a prostitute 4 times a month.
When 1 in 5 Korean women under the age of 29 are reported to sold themselves, many into debt bondage and trafficking by the same industry, are we expected to believe none of them were forced, tricked, coerced or abuse?
